The President is the face of the Alumni Association, providing leadership, direction, and ensuring that the association continues to grow and thrive. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the association, representing it in official matters, and ensuring that strategic goals are met.
👑 President Responsibilities:
✔️ Official Representative: Acts as the primary spokesperson and correspondent for the association, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni, the i-MBA program, and external partners.
✔️ Decision-Making Authority: Has the final say on key matters, ensuring that all initiatives align with the mission and vision of the association.
✔️ Strategic Leadership: Sets the overall direction, goals, and priorities for the association, ensuring continuous development.
✔️ Board & Team Coordination: Oversees the board’s activities, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among members.
✔️ External Relations & Networking: Builds and maintains relationships with corporate partners, industry leaders, and academic institutions to create opportunities for alumni.

The Vice President plays a vital leadership role within the Alumni Association, ensuring smooth operations, strategic alignment, and strong communication with members. As the right hand of the President, the Vice President actively contributes to decision-making, event planning, and member engagement.

✔️ Second-in-Command: Steps in when the President is unavailable and assists in overseeing the association’s activities.
✔️ Strategic Support: Works alongside the President in shaping and executing the association’s vision, ensuring continuity in leadership.
✔️ Stakeholder Engagement: Helps maintain relationships with the i-MBA program, corporate partners, and other key stakeholders.
✔️ Board & Committee Coordination: Assists in managing board responsibilities, ensuring alignment across different initiatives.

✔️ Meeting Records & Administration: Keeps minutes for all board meetings and general assemblies, ensuring all decisions and discussions are well-documented.
✔️ Administrative Coordination: Manages all necessary administrative tasks for the association’s smooth operation.
✔️ Scheduling & Organization: Ensures the board and members stay on track by coordinating and organizing meetings with clear agendas.
✔️ Communication Hub: Acts as the central point of contact for official documents, announcements, and association records.
✔️ Membership Tracking & Oversight: Oversees and updates the list of active members and has a clear overview of total membership numbers.
✔️ Member & Board Coordination: Facilitates communication between board members and ensures follow-ups on key action points.
✔️ Regulatory Compliance: Helps oversee association documentation and processes to remain in good legal standing, ensuring all necessary paperwork is up to date.

The Treasurer is responsible for ensuring the financial health and transparency of the Alumni Association. This role is essential for keeping track of memberships, managing expenses, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. If you have a detail-oriented mindset and want to play a key role in the sustainability of our alumni network, this position is for you!
💰 Treasurer Responsibilities:
✔️ Membership Management: Collects and tracks membership fees and renewals.
✔️ Financial Oversight: Maintains an organized record of subscriptions and payments.
✔️ Bank Compliance: Works with the President to ensure the association’s legitimacy (νομιμοποίηση) at Piraeus Bank.
✔️ Tax & Accounting: Coordinates with the association’s accountant each year for the tax declaration procedure.
✔️ Expense Management: Collects and keeps track of invoices for the association.
The Treasurer ensures the association operates smoothly, allowing alumni initiatives, events, and projects to thrive. Without strong financial management, none of it would be possible!
🔹 Beyond Titles: Key Tasks & Responsibilities 🔹
In the Alumni Association, roles are not rigidly defined, and every board member contributes equally to the success of our initiatives. While leadership titles exist, teamwork and shared responsibility are at the heart of our mission. Throughout the year, specific tasks are assigned to individuals who ensure they are carried out effectively.
Here are some key operational responsibilities:
📌 Website Management
Our website is built on the WIX platform and requires periodic check-ins (approximately once every two weeks) to ensure everything is running smoothly.
Basic PC skills and familiarity with back-office work are essential.
Tasks may include updating content, troubleshooting minor issues, and ensuring a seamless user experience for our members.
📌 Social Media Management
We actively engage with our alumni community through Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, where all our initiatives and projects are shared.
This role requires marketing and graphic design skills to create engaging content, maintain a consistent brand presence, and boost member engagement.
Ensuring timely updates and interactive posts is key to strengthening alumni connections.
📌 Viber Channel Management
In 2024, we launched a new initiative to connect with alumni through a Viber channel.
The process of adding alumni mobile numbers is ongoing, and this channel is expected to play a growing role in communication.
The project is still in progress and requires structured updates and engagement strategies.
